Robert responded to our request for 'Cutting Comments' reader's favourite photos. Although this is not a photo, we have never seen anything like it, so we wanted to show it to you too! The video clip speaks for itself.
Robert has recently retired from The Niagara Parks Commission where he was Parks Naturalist for six years. He has always had an interest in timber, beginning in 1968 when he trained in forestry.
Robert is not yet an owner of a Peterson Sawmill but is a big fan, and says that 'when I get my Peterson mill I will saw the widest boards possible!"
Robert has been the Canadian Trustee for the International Wood Collector's Society (www.woodcollectors.org)which was founded in 1947, and currently acts as the Chair of the Wood Museum Committee.
