Doublecutting with ease
All Peterson mills employ the unique ability todouble cutwithout turning the head. It is now possible to cut 5½" x 12¼"
(140 x 320mm) on the 6" model, 8" x 16½"
(210 x 420mm) on the 8" model, and 10" x 20½" (260 x 520mm) on the 10" model.
Less discrepancy than other mills
The ATS winches are only two metres apart, both located at the operators end. Other mills have the winches at either end of the mill, sometimes six metres apart. Therefore any variation in adjustments will cause major discrepancies and cause increased waste on other mills, but is limited on the Peterson. |

Adjusting for taper
Additional crank handles allow you to adjust tolog tapereasily, meaning more efficient cutting and greater recovery from your log.
Less walking
The dual winch system allows the operator to raise and lower the tracks at the same end - no walking back and forth to either ends of the track.
Easy extensions
The extendable track system allows extensions up to 20 metres, while still using the same winch to lower the complete length.
Quick break down
The mill breaks down easily and quickly into smaller parts for incredible portablity.
