New Peterson owner Glenn Marquette got more than he bargained for on a recent trip Down Under. Thinking he was just coming for training on his new purchase, and a little tiki tour around the country, Glenn found New Zealand isn’t necessarily the quiet sleepy little place he had imagined.
After a day or two of initiation into sawmilling, first-timer Glenn was soon out on a ‘real’ custom milling job with Jake Peterson. Although he made claims that he never burns, he promptly got sunburnt in the overcast weather. He didn’t handle the NZ beer too well either – and still struggles to remember just how he got home after a night out in Rotovegas. We don’t know either!
But the ASM is what Glenn came for, and he was working hard during his training sessions, as you can see from the photo above.
After training Glenn jumped into a campervan to see more of New Zealand – but unfortunately found one with a dud transmission. He ended up having a few nice boxing matches with the gearstick on THAT little trip.
To cap it all off, Glenn witnessed a birthing where the baby had to be pulled out by hand! The piglets – Bacon, Chops and Spitroast – are all doing well now though.
