Product Description
An exclusive feature available on all Peterson Production Frames (WPF, DWS, ASM) is the ability to custom-build your sawmill in GIANT proportions. Our standard Giant Frame Upgrade involves building the sawmills an extra 200mm (7.8in) tall and wide. This increases the maximum log capacity from 1.5m or 1.8m (depending on model and blade size) to a massive 2m (6.5ft) or more, depending on your specific site setup or custom requirements!!

The amount of heartwood and clear timber to be milled in these giant logs is almost unbelievable. Peterson Giant WPF Owner Rob MacDonald has this to say: “I needed a mill I could take to the logs due to their size and location. For me, the main advantages of the Peterson are its portability and suitability for operating on steep hill sides, which means I can take on pretty much any job”, says Rob. “We were called in to a job on a farm to mill native Matai logs. They were too big to move, measuring up to two metres in diameter, so we milled them where they were felled. We would just move from one hilly paddock to the next and set the mill up around the logs!”
